Make the Most of Water

Despite the soil retaining some dampness from winter, some plants may struggle in the bright, breezy and often dry conditions of May. Prioritise watering seedbeds and sensitive crops like broad beans. Consider using water butts or reusing greywater (such as washing up or bath water) to keep your garden hydrated sustainably.
