Banish the plastic bags

As much as you are able, try to refuse plastic bags in shops. (I know I’ve suggested this before, but it’s worth repeating). Key to this, is keeping reuseable shopping bags in your car or coat pockets, or handbag or shopping basket – or all of those, so you’re never caught without one.
