Eco tip for the 2nd week of August
Growing your own herbs
It’s wonderful to have a pot of fresh herbs on a sunny windowsill to add flavour, goodness and a garnish to your meals. Buying pots of herbs is more sustainable than buying cut herbs, because there is likely to be less waste (cut herbs can go off very quickly) and you get more for your money because they just keep growing! Growing herbs from seeds is even cheaper and more sustainable and very easy. What are your favourite herbs (mine are basil and coriander)?
Genesis 1: 29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing herb on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
