Give your boiler a September check
Before the colder weather arrives, September is a good time to check how efficiently your home is using heat. Bleed radiators if necessary, check that thermostats and timers are working properly, and make sure doors and windows are closing well. Even small improvements can mean using less energy when we start turning the heating back on. If your church has a heating system, September is also a good month to arrange its annual service.
