Eco-tip for the first week of March

Spring is definitely on the way, as the crocuses and daffodils create a blaze of colour. You can also hear the birds returning in full song. Do you ever have trouble identifying birds or wonder how many different varieties you have in your garden or on your favourite walks?

Merlin is a free app developed by Cornell University which identifies birds by their calls and song. By using it, you are also contributing to data sets that are tracking bird populations worldwide, looking at where species are declining or (we pray) thriving.

Whether or not you use the app, praise God for the beauty and wonder of Spring.
