Be thoughtful about water, even in autumn
After the this summer's drought, we now seem to be getting panty of rainfall. We often associate saving water with hot summer weather, but September is a useful reminder that clean water is a precious resource all year round. Try turning off the tap while brushing your teeth, fixing dripping taps, and only running the dishwasher or washing machine with a full load. If you have houseplants, collect rainwater when possible rather than always reaching for the tap.
