Shopping bag habits

In the UK last year, we bought 437 million plastic shopping bags. That’s a rise of 7% since 2024. Most of us have stacks of ‘bags for life’ at home, but do we always remember to take them with us when we go shopping? I have 3 very light nylon bags permanently in my handbag and keep bigger ‘bags for life’ in the boot of the car. What would work for you?
