Harvest Festival

We are now in ‘Harvest Festival’ season: check out our wonderful Harvest Festival celebrations on our parish website. We are collecting items of food for Harrogate Foodbank again as our harvest offering. Did you know that many local shops give suitable food items that are excess stock (but still in date) to the Food Bank? Why don’t you have a look through your store cupboards and think about donating a few tins or packets that are still in date to Foodbank? You could maybe add a couple of extra items while you’re shopping. Whether or not you can give items to Food Bank, please consider praying for them:

Heavenly Father, We offer our heartfelt thanks for the volunteers who selflessly serve in food banks. They are the hands that feed the hungry and the hearts that bring hope to those in need. We ask for your blessings upon them, that they may continue to serve with love and compassion. May their efforts be recognised and rewarded in Your divine plan. Amen.
